Hawks use huge comeback win to clinch playoff spot

Atlanta, which owns the league's best record, became the first team to clinch a playoff spot. The Warriors sit at 46-12 and aren't far off from the Hawks, but haven't clinched a spot because of the superior competition in the Western Conference.

The Rockets pulled out to an early lead, but had trouble down the stretch without star James Harden, who was suspended one game for kicking Cavaliers star LeBron James in the groin. 

Houston owned a 15-point lead with 10:32 remaining in the game when Atlanta decided to call timeout. From there, the Hawks went on to post a 32-8 run and solidify their place in the NBA playoffs.
