Beverley left Monday’s game against the Pacers and traveled back to Houston on Tuesday to undergo tests on the wrist injury, which was originally ruled a sprain.

“If the news is bad on Pat, he might be out a while,” McHale said Tuesday, per the Houston Chronicle. “We will find out the news on Pat, but the initial thought was that it might be bad.”

The defensive-minded Beverley is averaging 10.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists for the Rockets (47-23), who are third in the Western Conference.
