Dwyane Wade to become free agent, Luol Deng coming back to Heat

The Heat got some good news and some not-so-good news Monday. Forward Luol Deng will be back for the 2015-16 season, but Dwyane might not, according to separate reports.

Wade has decided to decline his player option and will become a free agent, according to ESPN.

l by the Heat in the 2003 NBA Draft, Wade is the team’s longest tenured player and has been a part of all three of the franchise’s NBA titles The 11-time NBA All-Star averaged 21.5 points last season. 

Deng’s agent, Herb Rudoy, says his client has decided to pick up his player option for next season. He will make $10.1 million in 2015-16.

He averaged 14.0 points last season, his first in Miami after beginning his career in Chicago and being traded to Cleveland.
