Pistons guard Jodie Meeks suffered a fracture to his right foot Wednesday night, and on Friday the team announced he had surgery that will keep him out for 3-4 months.

Meeks underwent the procedure Thursday evening to repair a non-displaced fracture of the fifth metatarsal. He is expected to miss a few months, but will “be re-evaluated throughout the rehabilitation process.”
