The Miami Heat are playing for a third straight NBA championship. On the second night of the NBA season, Erik Spoelstra gave aging star Dwyane Wade the night off. After all, the Heat are facing the Philadelphia 76ers, thought by many to be the worst team in the league.

So naturally, Philadelphia started the game on a 19-0 run against the rei

gning champions. LeBron James eventually stopped the bleeding to make it 19-2, but not before Evan Turner dunked over James in transition.

Philly led 33-14 after one quarter, but the Heat had cut the deficit to 51-49 by halftime.

The Sixers held on for a 114-110 win, led by a near quadruple-double from rookie Michael Carter-Williams in his Philly debut.
